Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and you of course want everything to run smoothly which is why I – and most bridal makeup and hair artists will suggest a trial run, a few weeks before the wedding.
It’s a chance to work out what you want for your hair and makeup and to see if it is feasible and how it looks, the last thing you want is to have this beautiful image in your head and then on the days itself for it to look not as you imagined, the slightest change in lip colour can transform a whole look. You also want to make sure that you and the makeup artist get along and have the same vision. If you are having separate hair and make-up then make sure you have a trial with each of them.
